Sometimes nothing dramatic has happened, and yet something doesn’t feel right. Conversations miss each other, misunderstandings linger, and small moments begin to carry more weight than they should. You may still care deeply about each other, while sensing that you’re slipping into patterns you don’t want to repeat.
Relationship Rescue offers a space to slow things down and make sense of what’s happening between you. It’s for couples and individuals who sense something is shifting, and want to address it before distance and misunderstanding become the norm.
This isn’t about fixing your partner or trying to change each other. It’s about understanding how you relate, how tension builds, and what each of you does when you feel misunderstood, unheard, or upset.
When that becomes clearer, different choices become possible.
Most relationship difficulties don’t begin with big issues. They grow out of everyday moments; work pressures, lack of time, intimacy, shared responsibilities, family dynamics, or the way things are said.
What matters isn’t the topic itself, but what gets stirred up underneath. Old fears, old hurts, and automatic reactions can quietly take over, even in otherwise strong relationships. When that happens, you stop really hearing each other and start reacting instead. Over time, this creates distance, even when care and affection are still present.
Relationship Rescue helps you notice these patterns as they’re forming, so they don’t become the way your relationship works.
This approach focuses on understanding relational patterns as they’re happening, rather than analysing them afterwards.
We begin by exploring how you experience the relationship; what feels easy, what feels difficult, and what tends to trigger reaction or withdrawal. You then learn a clear, respectful dialogue process that helps slow things down, listen more accurately, and speak in a way the other person can actually hear.
As awareness grows, reactions soften. Conversations change. Choices become more intentional rather than automatic.
We usually begin with individual sessions so I can understand each of you and how you experience the relationship. This is followed by supported joint sessions, where you practise the dialogue process and apply it to real situations in your life together.
Working individually allows us to focus on how you experience the relationship, the patterns you tend to fall into, and what you want to do differently going forward. Many people choose this route when they want clarity about a current relationship, or when they’re reflecting on how they want to relate more consciously in the future.
I bring over 25 years’ experience as a relationship and couples coach, with training in approaches including Imago, attachment-based work, nervous-system-informed practice, and mediation. My background in mediation means I’m able to hold difficult conversations with balance, fairness, and clarity, even when emotions are high.
Most importantly, I don’t see people or relationships as broken. I see patterns that can be understood and changed.
If you’d like to explore whether Relationship Rescue is right for you, you’re very welcome to arrange a Clarity Call.
